Ik ben het oneens met de TS.
Ironie is impliciete kritiek. Door die kritiek ietsje pietsje explicieter te maken, wellicht door een ander teken, aangezien dit weer te expliciet is zoals je al aangaf, verlies je helemaal niet het lach effect dat je in feite wilt bereiken bij je doelgroep. Je verliest je lachers pas als je het uitlegt.
Bovendien zul je veel vaker de doelgroep bereiken die je wilt bereiken, namelijk degenen die jou vorm van humor wel snappen.
Dus op die manier vind er steeds meer een handige tweedeling plaats die iedereen ten bate zal zijn,
aangezien de mensen die je ironie niet vatten zullen vaker wegblijven omdat ze direct kunnen zien: “Oops, Ironie!” Dat bespaart jou tijd, moeite en irritatie en die mensen digitaal gezichtsverlies (de sociale straf die veel mensen hanteren bij degenen die ironie of een andere specifieke humor vorm niet snappen is vaak een onterechte persoonlijke aanval)
