Megabit, day 1
01-08-2006 – 09:45Today is already the second day of a cool networking event in Ede: Megabit. Yesterday (Monday) FooBar and me went to pick up ^God_ (Bram), and together we went to the campsite. Setting up a tent proved to be quite a trick because the wind was not helping, but we managed and then we were able to socialize, hang out and stuff ourselves with food and drinks, and that was a lot of fun. The only drawback is that right now, my stomach feels like it’s going to explode. I’ve already made my way to the toilets more than once. Hopefully I’ll be better in a few hours so I can eat…
Other than that, I do not plan on letting this ruin my day, of course. There’s plenty of stuff do to and tons of people to hang out with. And even if I have to patch myself up with truckloads of ibuprofen, I will be there. I did not look forward to this so I could be sick all week, now did I? You know what they say: pitching a tent together is one of the first true trials of a relationship. If you two got through that without and bruises or other wounds, then you’re set for the next few months :)
