New glasses
21-06-2007 – 16:52I got a new pair of glasses, since the old ones were not helping enough anymore. I now have a correction of -1 on both sides and cilinders of 0.25 on the left side and 0.5 on the right. This makes my head spin at the moment, but the saleswoman said that will go away.
I also took the option of getting a free pair of sunglasses with the same prescription. Those are way cool too!

The glasses look great, though I’m not too enthused about the shades. That’s not important though… You should like ‘em :)
Also… Have you been losing a bit of weight? You look different… :)

@Cailin: I think the shades would look better with actual sun shining on them, in a darkish room they just look weird. But I like them a lot :)
And, you just saying that ^^ *blush*
(In fact, I have :) )
@Solitas: hey you, how did you find me here? :)
Thanks! :)

Oh, a while ago, I just noticed you in Liessa’s blogroll and chucked your RSS feed into my reader. :)
I like to sort of stay in touch with people, even if it’s just by reading their blogs… I’ve thought about starting one of my own, for people who have the desire to stay in touch with me, but then I always think I’ve got nothing worth saying anyway…

Oh dear, was that too forward of me? Gomen nasai!
That’s actually something I’ve been looking into the past week, in light of the article I’ll link to below. I’ve asked a few female friends and (ex)colleagues whether I was being too forward with them. You’re still on my list to ask.

Ah… The apostrophe in the url borks things up… Just copy/past the whole thing into the URL bar.

I read it today and I must say, it’s interesting but I do not wholeheartedly agree with her. I think that at some points, she is overreacting. However, it may just be that my experience with techy guys is different from hers…
I’ll comment more on this soon with a blogpost :)

That about sums up the general reactions in the comments: she has some valid points, but also seems to be overreacting. I too am lining up for a blog post on the subject, after some self-analysis. I’m still waiting for some answers/e-mails before I can go ahead with it though.
